Private-beta service
DesignBench coordinates vetted mechanical-design production support for structured CAD, drawing, BOM, revision, and documentation backlogs. The site supports intake, assessment, matching, private file exchange, review, and approval workflows.
Using the site or submitting an intake does not by itself create a paid engagement. Project work begins only after DesignBench and the client accept the scope, commercial terms, confidentiality requirements, and any project-specific agreement.
Technical responsibility
DesignBench is not an independent professional engineering firm and does not certify, stamp, or assume final technical responsibility for customer designs.
- The client retains technical direction, engineering standards, internal supervision, review responsibility, and final approval.
- The client determines when calculations, regulated review, or licensed professional engineering oversight are required.
- Safety-critical, regulated, independently certified, or otherwise Red-risk work is not suitable for the initial service unless DesignBench expressly accepts a revised, bounded scope in writing.
Accounts and acceptable use
Users must provide accurate information, protect their credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Users may access only records and files they are authorized to review.
- Do not upload malicious files, unlawful material, third-party confidential information you are not authorized to share, or credentials and secrets embedded in notes.
- Do not probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, access controls, rate limits, file scanning, or audit records.
- Do not rely on DesignBench as the only copy of source CAD files, released drawings, approvals, or other business records.
Availability and changes
The private beta is provided on an as-available basis while workflows are being tested. Features may change, and access may be suspended to protect users, data, or the service. DesignBench does not guarantee a match, project award, candidate approval, uninterrupted access, or a particular project outcome.
These terms may be updated as the private beta develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page or communicated directly to active pilot participants.
These private-beta operating terms do not replace a project-specific NDA, statement of work, services agreement, or other signed contract. DesignBench will require applicable written terms before paid production work begins. Questions can be sent to hello@designbench.ca.
